July Supper Club with Wahl Family Farms

Saturday, July 10th, we kicked off our fifth Hazella Supper Club. The evening was an exciting showcase of products from Wahl Family Farms, featuring everything from their fresh hazelnuts to their different beef and lamb cuts.

There were 11 guests in attendance, including Mr. & Mrs. Wahl and another partner of ours, Amanda Dant, of Morning Glories Floral.

Chef Michael sent out creation after creation on Rebecca’s lovely china, and Alex poured our house Sparkling Elderflower Rose White Tea. Between morsels, the Wahl family and Ms. Dant shared about their small businesses and how supporting "local" can make a difference in all aspects of life, from the food you eat to the gifts you give.

There were old friends, new friends, and some falling in between in attendance that we were excited to get to know better by sharing a meal and conversations.

While the main entree of sizzling lamb was licked clean by all, a crowd favorite was the little Amuse-bouche plate featuring croutons shaped into perfect crescent plates and framed by an array of star-like cheeses, berries, and vanilla-infused bratwurst.
